The Village of Camden is looking to fill the part-time position of Mayor’s Court Clerk.

MAYOR’S COURT CLERK
Job Description
- The clerk shall serve at the request of the Village Mayor;
- Compile, type, record, and issue a wide variety of court records, reports, and materials (e.g., letters, reports, etc.); create bi-weekly docket; coordinate hearings with the Magistrate, Village Police Department;
- Assist the public in person and by phone, including retrieving information and files and providing general information, advise callers of payable amounts, mandatory court appearance, court proceedings and court dates;
- Enter tickets into system; responsible for correct disposition of fines and fees and other mandated court costs, distribution of fines and fees to Fiscal Officer; accept payments on moving violation tickets; perform data entry of payments; ensure that revenues posted balance with reports; prepare deposits for bank; run reports to balance cash drawer; monitor pay agreements; maintain financial records of the court;
- Process and prepare cases for the Magistrate; prepare and file monthly reports; prepare and maintain year-end docket; prepare annual Mayor’s Court Report; assist with annual audit;
