Program Overview & Application Information
In February 2025, Camden received a $4,000 grant through the McCullough-Hyde Foundation's Community Grant Program to start our Helping Hands Program. The program will offer critical assistance to underserved residents in Camden by addressing community health needs and providing essential support services.
OVERVIEW
The Helping Hands Program is designed to assist residents of the Village of Camden with critical health-related needs and essential support services. This initiative provides one-time, non-recurring aid to individuals facing urgent circumstances related to physical health, mental health, or vital daily support.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for assistance through the Helping Hands Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Be a current resident of the Village of Camden.
- Provide valid proof of residency.
- Demonstrate a need for critical, non-recurring assistance related to health, mental health, or essential support services.
Please Note: Funding is limited and distributed on a monthly basis. If an application is not approved, individuals are welcome to reapply.
How to Apply
There are three ways to submit an Assistance Application for The Helping Hands Program:
