Sharks are coming to the library! The Wave on Wheels Foundation at Newport Aquarium is bringing live Coral Cat Sharks and Epaulette Sharks to the library! The goal of the Mobile Shark Cart program is to educate and engage the community, connect you with a keystone species in our ocean’s ecosystem. In addition to live sharks, several animal biofacts are used in the presentation including shark jaws, a can of shark fin soup, shark eggs, and more. By the end of this program, you will know how you can make a difference in shark conservation!
Registration is REQUIRED for this program. You can register for this FREE event beginning October 15th at the library branch where you plan to attend. Upon registration, you will receive a ticket which you must bring with you to this event. Seating is limited!
