Construction for an intersection improvement (to install left turn lanes on Rt. 127 and other work) is scheduled to begin on March 29th and it set to be completed in May, 2024.
The intersection will be open with flaggers directing traffic throughout most of the process. Access from Bloomfield will be closed temporarily at some point for a portion of the project (to allow for widening of the road on the N side of the intersection) and later in the project Douglas Street will be closed permanently for road widening on the S side of the intersection.
