Established in 1818, Camden is a community with an interesting past and a bright future. We're conveniently located at the intersection of highways 127 and 725 in Preble County in SW Ohio with easy access to Oxford, Hamilton, Dayton, Cincinnati and Indiana. With such close proximity to I-70 to the north and I-75 to the east, you can get anywhere from Camden. Or you can stay right here.
A friendly, laid-back community, Camden is home to successful businesses, an outstanding school district, four community parks, a new community center and a hard-working, friendly citizenry. Downtown revitalization and overall growth is our goal right now, and the results have been nothing short of inspiring.
- New businesses have opened, current manufacturing companies are expanding and more business infusion is in the works.
- Infrastructure and beautification improvements continue to make a significant difference in the appearance, livability, and functionality of our village.
- The community provides lots of activities and festivals for our community and visitors.
All this makes Camden an enjoyable and rewarding place to live, work and play!
It's an exciting and encouraging time for Camden. If you are already an important part of our community, thank you. If you’re considering relocating your home or business to Camden -- or simply thinking about a visit -- please do. We’re here to help in any way we can.
So, some see us to grab a bite to eat at one of our hometown restaurants or to visit our local businesses. Stay awhile for a community concert, our Camden Farmers Market, or the "world famous" Black Walnut Festival. Bring your family to enjoy the splash pad or picnic areas at one of our parks or stop by our beautiful Town Hall to learn more about it's fascinating history or the Camden Archives to learn more about us.
Enjoy your visit!
