Historic Camden Walking Tour

Camden Historic Walking Tour

It's no secret that Camden has an incredibly interesting history. Our Camden Historic Walking Tour is a great way to learn more about our little town.

Designed as a self-guided walking tour, the Camden Historical Tour Booklet details your route, and is loaded with lots of great information and photos about each stop and about Camden's fascinating events and happenings. The keepsake tour booklets are available at the Camden Library and at the Camden Archives during normal hours and are just $1.

You will begin your self-guided tour at the Town Hall and commence around town for approximately 1.5 miles on flat terrain with over 40 stops.

The tour should take you about 45-60 minutes to complete, and along the way you can stop for a bite to eat or can linger to check out the historical artifacts and documents in our Archives.

If you would like more info about Camden's history, we shared lots of stories and photos during our Bicentennial Celebration that you can check out on our Facebook Page.  Or if you have a questions, just contact us.  We are always happy to talk about Camden and our rich and interesting 200+ year history.
