Camden Ohio

A Message from the Mayor

As Camden's Mayor and on behalf of our citizens, it is my joy to welcome you to our Village. Camden is an historic small town smack dab in the middle of everywhere you want to be with ample opportunities for work, play and learning just a short drive away. (Oxford, Dayton, Cincinnati and SW Indiana).

Our past is rich and our folks are friendly. We’re home to businesses operated by the same families for decades, and others just starting up. We have a wonderful medical practice & facilities and a pharmacy right in the heart of town to take care of our community, and our Police, Fire and EMS Rescue Departments help protect and keep us safe.

We appreciate our heritage, yet we’re focused on building our future with new faces and fresh ideas.  Front-porch sitters and entrepreneurs welcome!

If you’re just passing through, enjoy the beauty of our village and grab some lunch at one of our local eateries, or top off your gas at either of our fuel markets. If you need to stretch your legs, you can pick up a walking tour booklet at our Town Hall and learn about our fascinating history.

If you’re looking for a place to call home where you can make a difference, we’d love to be your neighbor!

Warm regards,
Karen Moss, Mayor

About Our Village

HGTV's Hometown Takeover Contest

The Camden Comeback organization (local non-profit that supports Camden's citizens and businesses) entered Camden in HGTV's HomeTown Takeover Contest in early 2020 prior to the COVID pandemic and restrictions that came afterward. The contest was delayed and a winner never chosen, BUT...we still want to share with you Camden's fantastic nomination video produced as part of the application process. Watch and listen as our Camden friends and neighbors describe our great little village.
