OPPORTUNITIES ARE HERE
Camden is in the process of a revitalization, and that’s the good news. The Village Council and organizations like Camden Comeback are working hard to capitalize on opportunities, local properties, and an entrepreneurial spirit to bring Camden’s business areas back to life. One major effort is the purchasing or encouraging the purchase or rental of vacant or dilapidated properties, renovating to provide space for new business ventures.
Already we are seeing great progress. Several properties in town are now in various modes of renovation and we’ve begun receiving requests from potential business owners seeking locationsto open a coffee shop, bait & tackle store, a boutique, a realtor’s office, social service and medical practices and more.
POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS
One building is currently being renovated for a bakery business, and the formal Methodist Church is going to soon be a new Community Center with space for activities, meeting & educational opportunities, weddings & small concerts, business office space and a second dedicated to social service assistance (the ribbon cutting and grand opening is scheduled for June 19th).
