Camden's Water & Sewer Department, headed by Village Administrator, is responsible for:

- Installing and maintaining water lines
- Turning water off and on for residences and businesses
- Reading and maintaining all village water meters
- Maintaining the Water Plant
- Maintaining village fire hydrants
- Conducting required monthly and weekly water testing (for E Coli and other bacteria) and sending to lab for testing
- Adding chemicals to water at plant as directed by lab testing
- Maintaining and repairing all sewer lines
- Installing sewer lines
- Collecting and dumping sewer sludge
- Regular checking for sewer line leaks, repair or schedule repair as needed
